Alt making maximums... and the time frame

So you're making a lot of alts and then WHOOPS! You have reached your maximum for now. You get a message that tells you to make some later.
So, how long do you have to wait till you can make another one?
The official word is "Furcadia does not give out that time frame."
However the general consensus seems to be about 30 minutes to 6 hours to 24 hours. It is unclear.
