I hope you don't mean you put it in your X:\Program Files\Furcadia\patches\default folder. If you did, you just screwed up your default patch.
Anyways, what you do is put all the patches into a single folder created just for a single dream. I prefer to put in in the X:\Program Files\Furcadia\patches\New Folder (Replace with a name you want). Then, open the dream in DreamEd, click Patches on the menu bar, then Dream Settings.... Below where it says Patches, fill in the dot with, "I want to use files from this directory for my dream:" and browse/open the folder you just created. Press OK. REMEMBER TO SAVE YOUR DREAM AFTER YOU HAVE DONE THIS! IT WILL NOT NOTIFY YOU IF YOU WANT TO SAVE CHANGES IF YOU CLOSE DreamEd!
Optional: Check, "Don't let anyone else study my map or my patches after the uploading. (This will slow down uploading and download of your dream)" if you do not want anyone to be able to copy your map or patches.

There are some very basic tutorials on the furc website as well. I was in furc for about a year though before I ever tried to do any of this. x.x You're braver than I am.

Ha, I'm not braver, I just have a very short attention span and have to do lots of different things to not get bored with it xD.
I'm really sorry John, I forgot about this thread and had figured out how to do both things before I could post it up here. Thanks for the help anyways!
