Not a stupid question at all.. Like my grandmother taught me.. “ There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.” Heh.. Anyway.. Well in this case, since you are using only two objects you do not have to make either sitable. But what you do need to make sure of is where your “
furre postion” is set. In this case when you click on the “
View” button at the top of your editor there should be a list. In that list click on “
Furre Position” as shown in the picture below.
See it highlighted in Red? Now in the little box that says Furre Position I highlighted what the box should show. At the top of that box are two numbers. These numbers should say (0,0). If not, by using your mouse you can move the furre position into the right place until the numbers show coordinates (0,0). Now once you have that situated the next thing you need to check is your “
Shape properties” also under the “
View” tool. In the “
Shape properties” box there should be a list with Basic Properties, FS2, and FBJ properties. Check the FBJ properties and then, if not already shown, check the walkable box. This should be the same for both the roof and the walls, as well should the “
Furre position” be placed at (0,0).
After you have finished with that, the next thing you would more than likely need to do is save your FSH file by clicking “
File” and then “
Save.” Now just in case you are not sure how to apply the patch to your dream, first and foremost your doghouse patch FSH should be entitled iteme.fsh (recommended). Next you should make sure your FSH file has been placed in a separate folder. Perhaps in this case you could entitle your folder “ Doghouse” or something like that. Once your desired patches have been applied to the folder, open your Dream Editor (Map). At the top should be a tool listed as “
Patches” click on that and scroll down to the list named “Dream settings”. Click on “
Dream settings” and then another separate box should appear. At the top should say “
Dream Name”. Here you can place a separate name for your dream or place a note for what people should expect whether it is “ My Dream”.. or “Private” .. you can name this anything you would like furres to see when they see your dream portal. Or you may choose to leave it blank. Below this section should be a second section entitled “
Safety”. There should be a check box which is usually a good idea to place a check mark in. This encrypts your dream so that no one can steal your patch or view your map. Further down should be a third section named “
Patches” . Placing a mark aside the second column that reads “
I want to use this file from this directory with my dream[/b]” click the browse button and search for the file where you have placed your patch folder within your computer. Once you have found your folder, click okay down below. Now your patch should be uploaded to your map. If not go back and make sure your “
Browse” destination was entered correctly.
Phew… now ^.^.. With that said and done go up to “
File” on your Editor and “
Save”. Alright! Alright! We made it this far.. Now, I am assuming what you wanted to do was make is so where when a furre walks into the dog house they have to sit. Now there are two ways this can be done.
Option I: you can leave it alone with a short emit from your DS that explains to a player that they can sit their character down inside by pressing
Ctrl L L. And
Ctrl L to lie down. Or.. If you want, you can create a floor tile that is sitable by going into your FSH and Checking “
Walkable” and “
Sitable” Box for the desired tile that you would like to be sitable. Be weary.. To do this you must create a separate patch like the object patch entitled floore.fsh, placing the floor tile in one of the square, positioning the shape, the furre, and checking the needed “
position properties” beneath the FBJ box.
Whew.. I know that was a mouthful, plus some.. So if you need any further help.. ^.^.. Well someone will get to you ^.^.
