Okay, does anybody have the ds for this. I want it to be like you enter the dream as a certain player patch and you press f3 and you change into a different one. Say ?back and return to the first one. I'm sure everyone has seen it in Toxic Stables. Please help?

This code segment should turn a feline into localspecies once they press F3 and turn anyone back once they say ?back - plain and simple ;)
(0:16) When a furre uses any object, (1:22) and the triggering furre is a feline, (5:1200) change the triggering furry to localspecies 1.
(0:31) When a furre says {?back}, (5:1202) change the triggering furry back to their original species.
If you want the code to apply to another species, use the line near 1:22 - look at DS editor in that area for more information.
There's no point in restricting ?back to felines, in my opinion since it's just another wasted DS line - non-felines are not localspecies anyway - no effect ;)
Hope this helps.

There's no point putting feline avatar where it already exists by default, so just don't touch it there.
As for the local species, you store the 20 avatar frames in a file called local1.fsh in the right order (look at the default patch for felines, for example).
If you wish your local species to have a specific portrait as well, along with a specitag, you should include all that in a file called lport1.fsh in the following order: 0) Unspecified Portrait 1) Female Portrait 2) Male Portrait 3) Male Specitag 4) Female Specitag 5) Unspecified Specitag
Refer to the files local1.fsh and lport1.fsh in your default patch folder (c:\Program Files\Furcadia\patches\default\ by default) for more information.

It's not very helpful of you saying "it didn't work". There could be hundreds of reasons to this and until you actually be more specific about what's going on, noone will be able to help you :P
Imagine someone coming to you with a TV manual and saying "I did what it says, it doesn't work". What would you do now? :P
Anyway, so you've got local1.fsh in your dream folder, you have the DS to perform the switch between normal species and localspecies, right? What happens that it "doesn't work"?

Did you look at the link as well? You have to make sure the patch is in your dream folder, not your default. Also, make sure that in the map editor, you have your patches set to the right folder to show up. That link will also show you how to do that.
